Privacy and Information Security Policy
Enertech’s proprietary and confidential information is one of its most valuable assets. Proprietary and confidential information” typically includes non-public information that, if disclosed, could provide competitors with an advantage or could harm Enertech. Examples include technical information, designs or process data, pricing information, business or strategic plans, operational processes and know-how, project applications, software and technology, research and development, as well as third-party information such as customers’ and partners’ confidential information entrusted to Enertech and obligated to be protected by Enertech.
Enertech may enter into partnerships with companies that could otherwise be competitors, suppliers, or customers under different circumstances. To ensure proper communication in these partnerships, necessary precautions should be taken to prevent the unintentional or intentional sharing or use of proprietary and confidential information outside of the partnership.
It is prohibited for employees to share Enertech’s, customers’, and partners’ proprietary or confidential information, as well as information entrusted to Enertech and obligated to be protected by Enertech, in public places or where others may overhear. These pieces of information can only be shared on a need-to-know basis with authorized individuals, employees, and third parties, and only authorized individuals can disclose information about Enertech, its subsidiaries, and projects to the public, media, or other third parties. The responsibility of employees to keep Enertech’s information confidential continues even after their employment with Enertech has ended.
Customers, suppliers, and business partners often entrust highly confidential information and data to Enertech. When using this information and data, all employees are required to comply with relevant laws, Enertech Information Management System procedures and practices, customer requirements, and any confidentiality agreements in place. Even after leaving Enertech, employees must show respect for and exercise due diligence in protecting any information they may have about third parties.
Patents, trade secrets, copyrights, and trademarks are legal terms that identify ownership of an invention, know-how, product, idea, written work, or name by an individual or company, and the unauthorized use of these without explicit permission is prohibited.
Enertech commits to fully comply with all applicable laws and licensing agreements regarding copyrighted materials, including written materials, photographs, and software. Enertech also obtains licenses or subscriptions for reference materials such as necessary software, products, and standards for use within Enertech. Unauthorized reproduction or transmission of content such as articles, data, photographs, music, videos, or software is illegal, and content published on the Internet does not grant anyone the right to use it for free. The name or logo of another company should not be used without permission from that company. Obtaining permission from multiple sources may be necessary for the use of such content.
